Planning for Retirement

Given the current state of the economy, it is difficult (if not impossible) for most people to even think about saving for something that won't be happening for 10, 20, 30 or even 40 years. It seems like everyone is struggling financially. Cars are being repossessed and homes are being foreclosed on in record numbers. Things are really, REALLY bad. I have been in that situation myself, I know what it's like to have your car repossessed and your power shut off. I know how stressful it is to come home from work to find a Notice of Foreclosure hanging on your front door. I've been in your shoes and I know there are ways out. The purpose of this blog is to share some retirement strategies with you that will help you make the best choices to meet your present financial responsibilities and still allow you to secure your future. I want to help you prepare for the day when you leave the working class and join the retired community. You will be surprised how fast that day comes.
